Anthony Richardson, better known as “Tony,”decided to bring the fresh-fish taste of City Island (where he’d worked for a number of years) to Harlem USA! Considered by many New Yorkers to be the “most patronized seafood restaurant that provided the freshest and tastiest fish in town, while using hand-cut,Long Island chef potatoes for our signature “chips.” Located for over two decades at 2322 7th Avenue, Harlem, NY, Seafood Haven served thousands seafood lovers from all five boroughs; as well as from as far away as New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, and North/South Carolina. Currently, Seafood Haven is located at Willingboro, NJ’s Country Club Plaza on Beverly-Rancocas Road, where the “Original” Seafood Haven recipe of prime secrecy is ultimately maintained; which consequently, is the reason crowds of seafood lovers could be seen waiting on long lines-which at times, extended around the corner.
